MyStory
About my life and art
I am a Swedish born artist from the town of Sundsvall, living now in Finland and a member of Suomen Taiteilijat ry, the Finnish Artists Association. I have always loved classical art, both ProgRock and classical music and medieval history. My classical art studies I have conducted at Repin Institute as well as HERA Helsinki Atelier of Representational Art, under Daniel Enckell. I have participated in different art exhibitions in the Helsinki area. I have also educated myself in medieval blacksmith as well as banner creation.
To learn more about the great masters and their classical techniques, I have tried to follow their artistic process and recreate, from my artistic point of view and with my personal input, some of their masterpieces as well as my own art with oil paintings and historical banners.

Creating my version of "The Arnolfini Wedding"
In this video, I share my creative process of producing my version of the famous painting "The Arnolfini Wedding" by Jan van Eyck, also called "The Arnolfini Portrait" or "The Arnolfini Marriage".
My Love of Music
In addition to loving painting, I also love playing the classical guitar and playing my Lute. It would be old compositions from the Renaissance through Baroque and all the way up to ProgRock, like music for example by Genesis. Grow up as teenager during the 70s and listening to prog rock groups like ELP, Genesis, Yes, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, etc.
I have also done some blacksmith work and designed banners and other paraphernalia for re-enactment purposes or home display. In the picture, for example, a half-sleeve chainmail, a two-handed sword for training, collector's "Conan the Barbarian" sword, a small axe, a "morning star", a small crossbow, a knight's dagger, leather arm bracers, a small coat-of-arms shield and a big banner.
